The first Advising Conversation of the semester will be held tomorrow, Feb 9th, at 1pm in UC 330. All members of the university community are welcome to attend, and no RSVP is necessary.
When Advising Boundaries Blur- What do you do when a student discloses information about sensitive issues (domestic abuse or assault, disability, mental health issues) in the course of an advising appointment? What are the referral and documentation best practices, and what are our legal obligations as advisors? Bring your scenarios; we’ll have experts to help sort out the answers.
